The world is NOT ON TRACK to meet the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) for reducing maternal mortality and preventing deaths of children under five by 2030. Globally maternal mortality rate remains over three times higher than the 2030 target of 70 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births. In 2020, five million children lost their lives before their fifth birthday. We are losing too many lives to preventable causes. We must act now!
Our project involves researching and translating our findings into a brochure and QR code system for our educational intervention aimed at improving maternal and child health.
